Love your supra! The mkIV has been a dream car of mine since circa 1996 when I was 9 and saw one for the first time. My friends had vipers and lambos on their walls, I had the supra on mine.

Once you get all that straight line nonsense out of your system, you should set it up like a real racecar for the road course.

If you just want to drag, buy a fox-body, I don't even know why those things even come with a steering wheel.

That supra wants to zig and zag.

Thanks for taking a look i'm partial to 90's cars as i graduated HS in 1996 lol!

Always wanted a Supra like many but i've always had a thing for domestic stuff had many Mustangs already a few Camaros and a bunch of imports (old-skool Toyotas and more recently my Evo RS)

However this thing will stick to going straight until i get rid of it which i hope is not for along time

Most def. it's coming along slowly and not nearly as nice as some of these other amazing high $,$$$ builds on here but they all give me something to shoot for and lots and lots of great ideas.......so much knowledge and experience on here and places like YB etc

OK was at the shop yesterday mocking up more things so tell me what you think.

This is what i'm working with space wise and IF i ran the AFCO rad i'd likely have to lay it down flat like this (i have the v-band/T4 flange on each collector just to get an idea of how they will sit with the turbos but will likely be further forward about 6" or so)

The old subframe it's laying on will be cut out and re-made out of smaller tubing and will drop down about an inch or more depending upon what i decide to go with radiator wise or none at all LOL

I used my old Derale trans cooler which is just about 1-2" difference from the other Derale fluid cooler i posted above if i decide to use that and it could tuck up nicely in front of the driver's wheel (but that kinda freaks me out in case water happens to come out of it for any reason )

While i was mocking up stuff i figured might as well see where the Enderle FP will go and i think it will be best right about here so guna have a machinist buddy come up with a bracket or Bob from AEI CNC said he can help me out

I think it's a good spot if i go and have a fuel cell made to fit in this area below the passenger headlight so that it will hopefully gravity feed the FP and if i cut out some of the material near the strut-to-frame bar i can easily access the top to fill etc and maybe even make a filler type neck if that's legal....

The cardboard box should hold roughly 2.5 gall of fuel hope that's enough for 1 pass at a time?

Again lmk what you think and if i can really get away w/o the whole radiator and large stock location WP i'd be doing this  + i could put that money to something else like a nice driveshaft!

I'm a big fan of the guys who make the radiator laying down thing work. Only problem is I've never done it so can't help with that, but I do know getting all the air out is an issue.

Is there a particular reason you don't put the radiator in the trunk? You mentioned putting the fuel cell up front, so I would imagine that you have plenty of room in the trunk for your radiator. All it takes is a little creative ductwork.

After you see the updated pics later there may still be room to lay one down but we'll see i'll just hang on to the WP and RAD for now until i find buyers and/or put them to use!

The car is backhalved so there are bars and wheel tubs out back and i already have the Derale trans cooler underneath in the rear.

LATEST UPDATE!

Starting to come together now makes all the difference when i can see those turbos staring straight at me

Turbos are pretty much in their location (I pushed them further out away from the engine for a couple reasons mainly to ease the charge piping routing and also for the exhaust piping as well) but as a bonus with the turbos clocked the way they are it will allow me to put a 3 gall vertical fuel cell in between them keeping it between the frame rails not to mention hopefully keep some heat away from the important stuff!

Here a a few pics of them with the old subframe still there

But as you can see it go in the way of clocking the passenger side turbos outlet so out came the subframe

The guys are still tweaking the locations a little bit to get the height right for the money shot!

So had to do some clocking of the turbos and make the final decision of how the charge piping will go and where the fuel cell will be situated so here's what i'm thinking.

Will run the outlets like this w/ a 3" to 4" Y transition from CX Racing

Here you can see the PTE 46mm WG i plan to route at 45* off the 8" length of tube forward of the collectors w/ the dumps pointing straght up out the hood along with the exhaust pipes coming off the turbine housings straight up out the hood as well

So since all the real estate is taken up up front in between the turbos and to be a bit safer imo (away from heat) the fuel cell will have to go where i mocked up with cardboard in the posts earlier.....

Also while waiting for parts etc the guys got started on patching the firewall where the front bars come out (i sure hope whomever cert's the car will allow this as i know 25.5 states un-altered firewall)

And finally a shot of the entire car to get a sense of what it will turn out lookin like
