Default f1r procharger kit

I'm looking at an F1r for a c6 that's only got 1000 miles on it but my question is what all would have to be done to run it on my 2000 Camaro?

It's a reverse rotation

Correct, the Flip Drive does not change the rotation. Bob

There is very little that can be used from the Corvette kit. The blower and bypass valve can be used, and if you have good fabrication skills you could use the C6 intercooler.

You would need the F Body bracket assembly
or

or the Aster bracket and water pump, shown above

The pulley that is on the Corvette head unit will work, but depending on the size of it, you may want a different size.

Crank pinning kit. Not needed if you have an aftermarket crank that is keyed

You will need to stand up your radiator to allow room for the larger sized F-1R head unit. Depending on how you do this, you may be able to reuse your stock fan assembly. Bob

If you want a copy of the ProCharger installation instructions, send me an e-mail asking for them, and I'll e-mail them back to you. Bob

The corvette and f-body ones are different, I wouldn't waste your $ and end up having to get rid of it

Thanks bob for your input that helps a lot. I'm actually a welder so I can make things happen. I know they are different but they say the ones for the vettes seem to work better in belt slippage. But anywho I ordered an 88mm turbo kit and decided to go that route. I don't like the strain it puts on the crank.

You're welcome. There isn't any belt slippage with the Aster bracket, it is a very well proven design. Not a problem, you'll have a lot of fun with the added power. Bob
