I buy mine in St. Joe. I take a big racing fuel jug and fill it up. It lasts a long time. If the car is low, I drive it up there, fill it, then refill the jug.

I cannot remember the name of the name of the actual place but it is at 3900 Frederick Ave just off I29 and is in the Collision Repair Specialists building across from the Chevy dealership.

I don't make special trips - I have friends and family in that area and I double meth runs up with visits.

The last time I bought it was $3-$4 a gallon. I don't remember it being very expensive to fill the 4 gallon tank in the trunk and then the race fuel jug.

Thanks for the info guys. Pickup and Race Haven in St Joseph looks to be the closest beside going to a racetrack. I would think a racetrack would be a PIA to try and get it at.

Windshield fluid is usually 20% Never seen 48% methanol washer fluid? Up north they get 30%, but that's the highest I've ever seen.

That’s a giant rip off IMO. That’s $46 once S/H is included. Basically getting 2 gallons of methanol for $46. Methanol was right around $3 a gallon last time I bought it.

I found a cool thread somewhere which made me do some research. Most -20 degree wiper fluids contains 30% meth. A 12 oz bottle of Heet is pure meth. When added to a gallon of wiper fluid you get about 50% mixture. $1.50-$2 for a gallon washer fluid and $2.39 for a 12 oz bottle of Heet at oreillys makes for a pretty cheap gallon of 50/50 meth mixture. Do your research on your brand with the msds sheet.
