Default Valve Cover Breather Bung Location

Hello guys, I'm upgrading my PCV Catch Can system by adding a -12AN line to my system.
My question is locating the bung on the valve cover, I'd like to place the bung at the front of the valve cover for easy access and maximum flow but at the same time I'd like to use the existing hole at the back since it employs a nifty oil baffle and would help with oil consumption.
My primary goal here is flow since I'm experiencing significant crankcase pressure (my old system was very inadequate) so I'm leaning toward the front location but if someone has nay input on the rear location I'm all ears.
Thanks!

I have an unbaffled -10 in the rear of each valve cover going to a vented catch can. Works fine.

Perfect, that's what I figured, do you get much oil in the catch can?

I've got 10s on mine, didn't wanna pay to have them welded so I used bulkhead fittings with the nut on the backside. Go to my thread in the multimedia section, it's right at the top, look about page 18 or 19 for pics.

Trust me you want it up front when you make enough power to get that oil pooling in the rear

Sold, I think I may have my buddy just weld up the hole in the rear unless you guys have a better suggestion.
I've been looking at grommet plugs but they look like **** lol.

I'd be tempted to try putting them in the middle. My front breather location get's oil through it under hard braking.

I don't think I'd have room for that with the factory coil brackets still being used plus I'm still hooked into manifold vacuum so I think under heavy braking with the throttle closed it will be fine, we will see lol.

Just stick one of these in your stock oil fill location. http://www.gzmotorsports.com/VCB103-...-breather.html

The hole is too small, I need a -10AN at the minimum.
I'm using -12AN for future power plans plus that sweet aluminum piece would be right next to the positive post of my alternator and that's an accident waiting to happen lol.

I was thinking that too lol.
It's not a big problem, all the lines and fittings will be here today so I'll get it all mocked up and prepped.
My main concern was oil going right out the breather since there is no baffle but it doesn't sound like much of a problem from what I'm hearing.

The hole in the breather is 1/2" NPT. Same size as -12

I used -10 in the middle of the cover with the stock covers, and now with holley covers. Stock coil locations not an issue on either. I would keep the baffles if you don't want it sucking too much oil. If you really insist to put it at the front, you can add a baffle like in the pic, which is another car.

When I had the ports in the rear at 1000ft on the track it would look like an explosion as it pooled deep enough with the gravity to send oil directly out

Flip to front no issues

I added the baffles because I would get some speckling on my bumper. With the baffles nothing

I would not cut the stock baffles out if using a stock cover

That was with my old engine that was loose as **** and moved a ton of gas
