Default Lq4 runs out of fuel options ?

Currently am running a 450lph walbro E85 pump and at 11 lbs i have ran out of fuel. anyone have any ideas other than building a completely new fuel system ?

I have heard of dual fuel pumps hobbs switch but im concerned it will over pressure my system.. I was thinking maybe adding a 255 instead of another 450 would that be better ?

any other alternatives or ideas to spending 500+ on a a1000 new lines, regulator etc?

would a boost a pump be a reliable option for me ? Im on stock internals + rod bolts and springs stock 3/8 feed 5/16 return stock regulator.. Im guessing i can only safely go to about 12-13 with e85?

Why do you think you've ran out of fuel? What size injectors? Duty cycle? Fuel pressure?

Are you surprised?

Fix this ---> "stock 3/8 feed 5/16 return stock regulator"

Lightbulb As mentioned..

"any other alternatives or ideas to spending 500+ on a a1000 new lines, regulator etc?"

Echo: "Are you surprised? Fix this ---> "stock 3/8 feed 5/16 return stock regulator"

3/8" line will flow enough for 800 whp on E85.

And an A1000? Why does everyone act like that's a go-to pump?

3/8 line is equivalent to -6 IIRC

5/16 stock regulator is smaller and a restriction, need to upgrade.

-6 line has been pushed to around 1500 HP with 100 PSI of fuel pressure.

He hasnt given any other details on his setup other than he ran out of fuel at 11 PSI. For all we know, he could have 52 lb injectors.

Running out of fuel can be either from lack of injector or lack of pump. What size are your injectors first off? What is your base fuel pressure? Are you referencing manifold pressure to the regulator? If all of these things are correct and you are flat running out of pump, then you can add a boost-a-pump as a simple solution to get you by, depending on how far you want to push it

Good point, OP did you have fuel in the tank? "ran out of fuel" might be literal
