Hey guys well its been a while for this thread but I finally made it to the track! Straight off the trailer the car went 9.90 @141 with a soft 1.50 60'. This was on 12-14lbs, 15* of timing and 10.2 AFR at Wot! So much more left in the tuneup! I could have went down 2-4 jet sizes in the rear to get the AFRs where they needed to be. Also, this was only turning the motor 6400! The motor can turn 7-7200 all day with the valvetrain it has. I never even popped the hood that night lol. track saw I had no cage and said GTFO LOL! here's a video!

2 step launch

Pretty sweet! What are you using for fuel pump? How are you logging AFR's? I'm wondering if you even needed the air to air intercooler being e85 and blow through. A few guys are doing non intercooler with e85 and fuel injection. Blow thru runs even cooler

Thanks Aaron! I am as well but I got to get the cage in there lol. Cant be mad at tech for doing their job. I'm kicking myself right now bc I just realized I had 22 psi in the tires from when I loaded it up onto the trailer lol damn!! should have brought them down to 16-18 to help the 60. oh well, still had a great time!

Sweet. What kind of power do you think that csu 750 and 12-1800 can support on e85?

carb is good for 1200 and the fuel pump should be okay at over 1k wheel. If needed I could always add an 044 to help with the fuel delivery.

Hey guys sorry ive been busting *** on upgrading the car lately! Uraloser2me is right, lol I took to the track and went 9.90 at 141.8 on 10lbs of boost with the cast wheel S480! The AFR was super( low 10s) fat but I didn't care hahah They weren't happy I didn't have a cage so I pulled the car back into the garage to cage it! It was a hell of a process but I'm glad I did it myself! I also swapped out the Cast wheel Borg S480 for a VSRacing Billet 88mm unit! I upgraded the shocks to the Viking Crusader double adjustables along with pulling the radial off and adding some hoosier 28x10x15 for no prep racing. Lastly I added the Boost leash/pulse leash combo from John at LJMS. Heres a video of the updates. Ive been trying to upload a lot to youtube so click the follow/subscribe button if you like the car! Thanks guys!

That is a very cool set-up. The SN95 is strangely my favorite Mustang, it is good to see you rescued one and made it fast.

Hey man how do you like the drivability of the blow thru? I have a carbed nitrous motor and have been thinking about going blow thru. This nitrous shortage is starting to be a pain in the ***.

I may have missed it but what is the compression of your motor?

Thanks David! The sn95 was my first car and ive always just loved the body style. This shell had its issues but at this point the only thing I haven't replaced is the paint lol. Im probably going to have it wrapped once I find some manual doors for it.

Baron: The drivability is really good. I wouldn't say that I would daily drive it in the rain or anything but for the most part using the map sensor it does great. I never regret switching from nitrous to turbo. Granted you cant peddle a turbo car like a nitrous car, I still say turbo all day everyday. My motor is 10:2:1 static with wiseco flattops and stock chambered 317s

Hey guys, some more updates. I recently upgraded the Cast wheel 80 to a VS racing 88mm t6 billet unit. Added a Boost Leash/Pulse Leash combo and an FTI all gear leave valve body turning my Th400 into a "turbo glide" for no prep racing. Im also lucky to be good friends with Dennis King at Daytona Sensors who is letting me test out some of there product. Im using the Smart Spark ignition and their Map sensor which are both working excellent! I had the car scaled at Coast Chassis Design which helped a ton! I was enroute to the track when my trailer sheared a wheel off leaving me stranded on the side of the highway...Well I needed to test so I pulled it off and drove the car 35 miles to the track LOL! It ran excellent and when I got there after hitting tech I pulled it straight into the staging lanes to make some passes! Got the car in the low 6s right out the gate. Made some suspension changes and added a little jet, the car is haulin! I hit the dyno a day later but the convertor was just not having it. We ended up making 500 on 5-8lbs of boost but showing 35% convertor slip so we shut it down for the day. I called up Dusty Bradford at PTC and ordered the 9.5 unit! Cant wait to get that thing in and hit the track/dyno again! Heres some vids! Thanks for following!
