That's an awesome build man! Love the ac! It must weigh quite a bit with an iron block and 80e. I know mine weighs 3750 with me in it, iron block and 80e. You get that 60 down and it'll go 9s for sure. I'm impressed with the mph, that pt unit must flow quite a bit. I'm wantin to upgrade mine from the on3 7875 to a pt 7675. To me it just seemed the exhaust housing wouldn't flow more.

I tell you that Trickflow cam is pretty decent considering the price! Hopefully they wont jack it up since it seems to be selling decent. I was getting around 18-19" of vacuum I think with that cam, and it was actually pretty quiet in terms of valvetrain noise. I get another!

Yes sir. 275-60-15 et streets
I would think if they idle that low with the ls6 cam, they should with the TFS cam. The pulsewidth at idle would be similar, I'd think.
I don't quite remember the gap. The plugs haven't been out since September. lol. I want to say I gapped them at .028 though.

i went with alum bumper supports and fiberglass bumpers and alum heads on an old Type T I purchased in 87
thing finally went 10.80s and with no roll bar you get bumped off but it allowed me to turn the boost down and run 11.5s with one glory run at the end when the air was cooler
fun stuff the ls would likely weigh about 80 lbs more than an iron head v6 so it's not too bad.
those are nice numbers boostamuv!

Scored a craigslist deal to start off this winter's upgrades (I know its not winter yet, but the car runs too good to rip apart now). Gen IV aluminum 5.3 with flat-tops and 243s. It is a DOD failure motor, which is fine. Standard lifters will be swapped in anyways.
This is a 58x motor so instead of swapping the reluctor wheel, I'd like to make the transition to a MS3 pro setup to take advantage of the integrated 2-step, boost controller, traction control etc.. Should really be able to lean on this thing next year with the stronger rods.
