Default aftermarket rods for 4.8 with big pin

looking for stock length 6.25 rods with the big .945 pins

all the aftermarket rods seem to have the small pins or shorter length

I do have some late model 4.8 rods, would they hold up to 800 hp?

having a hard time finding a suitable rod, don't want to spend big money for a billet rod. budget of 800 or less

On one build I put together. With a 2010 4.8 w Gen 4 rods. It's at 730rw and shifts at 7000. Limited by the turbo. And has a t56 behind it.
That's about 860hp at the crank. Been holding up for going on 2 yrs now.
Stock rods seem pretty happy at that level. And stock pistons.
Manley makes a set of rods that will work tho. But the pin .927

yes, 6.275 is the correct 4.8 rod length. thanks!

I found some 6.3 aftermarket rods but they were very pricey, and unfortunately had the .927 aftermarket pin size. doens't seem like too many aftermarket rods have the .945 pin size and it's expensive to rebush the small ends.

stock rods are a lot stronger than I thought on these engines!

sounds like I need to scrounge some gen 4 4.8 rods as I want to keep these pistons and they are fitted to the block bores which look really good.

does anyone have good pics of the gen 4 rods so I can identify them?

thanks very much for the help.
