Do i need to run dual BOV's?

427 + Twin 78mm turbos

Would that be enough cfm to require dual BOV's?

I have a Tial 50mm currently but not sure if i need another about to finish up charge piping so trying to plan accordingly.

Not a street car drag car only thanks!

I would say yes. What are hp goals and how much can boost do you plan on running?

Realistic rwhp goal on the current 4 bolt ERL engine i'm hoping will be 1200-1400 @ whatever boost pressure it will take to get there 15-20+

Plan is to run to the chassis cert of 7.50 (1/4mi) / sub 5.0 (1/8mi) @ roughly 2900lbs race weight or less

Drag car auto ?

Really cant see any need for BOV's at all, so one should be fine.

Care to explain why a person wouldn't use a BOV at all?

Yes 100% drag car w/ Glide.

I'd fell much more confortable w/ at least 1 BOV to keep the turbos happy i can understand you thought process as it will be wot hopefully 100% of the time but when i let off at after the pass or if it needs to be pedaled :eek2:

I still say run 2. When you let off after a pass, all that air has to go somewhere. If 1 bov doesn't cut it, you still might experience compressor surge. Im running 2 50mm my setup and it's just a mild street car build.
