Default 8 sec. 4.8l turbo lsx notch

Over the past year I put together this notch. Pretty basic SBE setup. Its an early Gen III 4.8L with ljms cam setup and ebay studs. S475/83 turbo at 20+ psi through an ebay a2w intercooler with meth. Car is still full interior street car. Will be getting caged this winter. The track passes below were the first miles ever put on the new setup and tune still needs quite a bit of work. That front end looks amazing! How well does the radiator cool tucked up like that?

Thanks guys. It's John's stage 2 turbo cam. It was run on 93/110 mix with meth injection. It's a 4303 fuel pump with 83lb injectors.

I love builds like this. People not afraid to do something a little different than the usual recipe. Definitely get a cage in there though!

Car started to wheelie about 50 ft. out! Awesome runner. Watch out for those power wheelies!

Congrats, very slick setup!

Any plans to street drive it? Did you get a chance to weigh it?

Will be cool to see how far the small S475 goes on a 4.8.

It actually went to the left there and I got out of it to straighten it out.

Thanks. Yes it will see a good amount of street time. It was 2880 raceweight.

Car looks awesome. The front end work is really creative. I'm also curious how cool the radiator placement is going to keep the motor. Definitely keep us posted on that once you start logging some street miles.

Do you have any more pictures of the car? It looks awesome and would love to see how you fit those fat tires under it and still kept a stockish interior
