New Build- 99 Formula/TA-LQ4-88/83-T56
After I spun a few rod bearings on my LS1/Nitrous setup in 2014, I took a year off to plan and purchase parts for the turbo build. I basically copied Matt Happel's (denmah) Fairmont 5 combo since I was so impressed with the number is made.(I don't plan to run meth so curious what I can make without it) Huge thanks to him and all of the Sloppy Mechanic Guys for the knowledge they share. And also to Drew (ablakez28) for the tune to get it running and for the dyno time I'll have in the spring!
I'll ve driving it for a bit before it snows, breaking in the motor and putting it away for the winter. Still waiting for my Air Filter, Exhaust trim ring and to install the Wideband. Next Spring will come the fuel system and dyno tune. Very happy with the way the car came out!
99 Formula Converted to a Trans Am(Front Bumper was last piece)- Ashen Gray Mettalic.
03 LQ4- Stock parts with Gapped rings, New Bearings and all ARP Hardware
Ported 241's with Dual Springs. Ls9 Head Gaskets- Chinese Studs.
Trick Flow 216/220 Cam.
On3 88/83 T4 Turbo with Custom Made Downpipe. Stock Truck Manifolds. All DEI Wrapped.
Twin Emusa 38mm Wastegates and Emusa 50mm BOV. 4an feed-10an Drain
Mike Norris Catch Can- Hallman Boost Controller. AEM Wideband
CX Racing Intercooler with Piping Kit.- 4" exhaust with Dynomax Bullet Muffler. Fender Exit on Driver's Side.
(2) Derale Pusher fans/Griffin Radiator Stood Up/EFI Source 3 Bar MAP Sensor
Rebuilt T56 with Monster Stage 3. 4.10 Gear with 295/55/15 MT's
Car Before the Swap. Converted to a TA minus the front Bumper.
Motor/Trans in. Radiator Support
New Bumper Mocked Up

Drew. It is running but need to delete the MAF so it doesn't throw an ses code for inspection. Idles great and I will be driving it for the first time tomorrow night. And I will bring beer when I see you in the spring! Thanks again for all the help. I'll try to keep off the gas as much as I can until then.
