6 Attachment(s) Nothing huge tonight for progress but a little interior work. So know one makes a 3 gauge pillar pod for the 2003 s10 interior being the headliner and a and b pillars are different than the 98-02 trucks. So I cut up a glowshift 98-02 3 gauge pillar pod and starting cutting it up to mold it into the factory 2003 a pillar. Attachment 643370 Attachment 643371 Attachment 643372 Attachment 643373 Attachment 643374 Attachment 643375 Some more hotside parts arrived tonight as well hoping to get the turbo sitting on the manifold this weekend. Thanks for looking! - - - - - - - - - -auto merged double post- - - - - - - - - - Silky pajama bottoms :fuckyeah: |
i love seeing dimes on here. in for progress. Keep it up man! |
I really like what your doing, and plan to do almost the same thing here soon. Can you post up what parts your using for your header, and who you got them from? I guess your using truck accessories? I have Corvette. Do you know what your truck runs N/A? I have almost the same setup, except with a 60E currently and LS6 intake. On crappy tires 2.0 60', mine ran the best of a 13.10. Curious what your fuel plans are? |
Some progress on this thing https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/ls1tech...cfa3cfe517.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/ls1tech...ff2820b68e.jpg Intercooler mounts gonna be perfect, this intercooler is some stage 2 intercoooler out of a subaru. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/ls1tech...a72d73e2d0.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/ls1tech...15a6be838b.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/ls1tech...29a5d30420.jpg Mock up air filter, its a little tight haha https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/ls1tech...a3b55b0b01.jpg tacked up and the turbo sitting on the manifold fits so perfect. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/ls1tech...c625ef22f7.jpg hood clearance https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/ls1tech...b1f3925942.jpg Could I get a mod to move this to the forced induction section please. |
Nice build. Do u think downpipe is gonna be tight out the back? Or are u gonna do a fender exit? |
1 Attachment(s) Yeah that filter is being criished a bit. On my Blazer I put a 90* elbo off my turbo so the MAF & air filter were down behind the headlight. Hard to see in this pic, but you get the idea. |

ok cool. I have a 97 rcsb s10 laying around. the original 2.2 took a dump so It might be a pretty good contender for a new project!! may try a junkyard sloppy mechanic build on it. |

Prostreet I pieced the kit together I order the flange off of ebay from modern automotive performance and the other metal from ace race parts on line the log is schedule 10 stainless 2" the 90s are long radius schedule 10 1.5". |
This is the 2003 only pillar pod finished up. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/ls1tech...f9afe52d49.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/ls1tech...e50bb9f34a.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/ls1tech...9ec459aedf.jpg Waiting on the rest of my metal from ace race parts for the hot side. Then I will get assembling the cold sided then pull the motor to change the oil pan and drill and tap for the oil drain back. |
