New rods or stay with stock bushed
 

Getting ready to pull the 6.0 for a rebuild-a little background, orig rebuilt it as a budget, but cyls were so rusted (from burnt vec.) I had to hone the piss out of it, sloppy pistons now, still some pitting
Anyway, it is getting bored, balanced-don't plan on racing other than a T & T or rental-it has the stock bushed rods, and the machine shop installed ARP bolts & ck'ed the big end on the orig rebuild
Will the stock rods, new .030 pistons be OK, prob around 600+ RWHP, trying to keep the budget down, and bushed rods look pretty beefy next to non bushed rods

I'd say you'd be fine. The stock bushed rods are beefy and look similar to most aftermarket rods. Nice thick beams, cap screws, bushed etc. I wouldnt lose sleep over it.
