Which wastegate?

Hey guys,
im still in need of a wastegate for my build, among other things, but i need a little help making a decision. its a Huron Speed V2 non a/c kit so i believe it comes with a 44mm wastegate mount so i know what size ill need. Im just not sure what brand. its for a forged 370, PT88 turbo, planning to run anywhere between 8-18psi. i was looking into tial and maybe precision just to match the turbo but i wanted to check to see if there was a consensus on what may be better then others as far as quality and reliability. thanks in advance!

The Tial 44mm I had was phenomenal quality (as is the Tial 38mm I have). But I've only had Tial and chinese, so I have nothing else to compare to. Lol

A lot of people say the Precisions are real nice, but I'm not sure they aren't Chinese too, just with better QC. Tials are made right here in Michgan.

thanks man. i actually didn't realize the Tial were made in the USA. i think i was kind of leaning toward that one anyway unless someone chimes in and gives me a reason not to.

No prob! It will be interesting to see if anyone has anything to say to the contrary, but my experience and what I've heard from others indicates that if you can afford TiAl, they are the best.

Running a used Tial 38mm on a V1 Huron AC kit with a TC78 and it works great. I will definitely by them again in the future.

Jgs makes awesome wastegates and they are also made in the USA and are usually cheaper than the Tial's

Tial or Precision will both be good units, just make sure they're genuine.

I picked up a pair of Turbosmart Comp 40's for a good price earlier this month. They're nice quality and if they're anything like the 38 I had I don't expect any troubles from them.
