I still stick with my **** comment. Almost every product I've used with a Holley sticker on it has caused me or my friends problems.

Generic comments like this have little value. It's like reading a Yelp review that says "this restaurant sucked!"

If you want to get more specific why don't you tell us what you bought and what exact problems you experienced. That's more helpful.

Yelp? How is me going into detail about the numerous shitty products that holley offers going to help you or anyone else when this thread is about an intake? Seems to me you're upset that people don't share you're opinion of Holley products.. But since you asked.. I or friends have had issues with the flowing products:

Fuel pumps
Pressure sensors
"Holley" solenoids
Wiring harness from dominator ECU

Just called Summit to order one but wanted to find out where they were made. His response? "Country of Origin, China"

I held one at the performance&race expo a few weeks ago. It is a Chinese intake for sure. Everything looks nice except for the inside where the runners come thru the upper plenum. They weld then from the bottom and some burn thru and weld buggers are left inside where you can't get to them.

It was the gonna b the cheap alternative to the fast intakes.
But there was a conflict of interest or something. Seems like the conglomerate would be losing money by having the fast intakes compete w the street warrior intakes or something of the nature.
Some big wig at Holley scrapped the project altogether. The warrior was gonna put dents in the fast sales.
Allegedly

Holley and Comp Cams are competitors. Comp owns FAST.

Has anyone looked inside the injector hole where it meets the runner on the sniper manifold? I had the cheap eBay sheet metal intake and right where they meet there was a little gap and would get fuel in the runner and would end up in the top of the intake manifold. Kind of hard to explain.

The one they tested awhile back on a ls3 vs a stock ls3 got raped down low in that 40hp area but def was there on top

Has anyone worked the math on what kind of plenum volume they actually have, seem very small .

Which to me is the big detriment say vs the high RAM, which is a similar runner but alot more plenum

On the 20 cathedral intake test it they didnt do overly well. Above 6500rpm it certainly seemed to improve and work decent though.

A small rpm range improvement....but if you wanted to make more power in that specific region, any loss below it may not be a big deal, and it looked like power was still climbing when they stopped

based against an LS1 on the n/a engine

Is anyone running the msd atomic? I don't see a lot of people talking about them, msd makes some pretty big claims... I know they're a little pricey but in line with a fast.

I think Alchemist one of the mods here is using one.

Any tests it seems to be on par with some of the better Fast intakes.

Depends on who you ask. Some say they are great, some say they are ****, some say they are harder to tune which doesn't make much sense, so who knows.
