Default Finishing up my 65 Buick winter rebuild

I had hoped to finish by April 1, but got ahead of schd.-should have it running by next weekend
I replaced the bad trunk floor, added a 10 pt cage (not 100% legal, rem. seat bar, but will suffice) pulled the old 6.0 and rebuilt it with flat top pistons, reused the bushed rods, already had ARP bolts, had it balanced, addressed the tie rod/oil pan issue, added an ATI balancer, rebuilt a new turbo 400, should have the ATI conv. in a couple days, addressed several exhaust leaks I put up with (still haven't fallen in love with V bands, can be a PITA) I switched out my S475 92mm 1.25 turbine housing with a 1.00, hoping for improved bottom end.
I might do a down and dirty paint job, fig if I busted butt I could do it in 2 weeks, but I need a little break, lol

Going to be nice. From that welded up hole I see, looks like you might have something exit it before that shouldn't have?

Looks good!

He added clearance in the pan for the tie rod end.

What do you mean "not 100% legal"? With the removable door bars? I have mine 8.50 cert'd with them. So you should be ok there. The car looks great and glad to see the upgrades went well for you!

Oh, you have rear seat passengers that don't like to climb.

Well, I fired it up today, everything went OK-lifters were pretty loud, but after a couple restarts they got quite (as quite as an LS is anyway, lol)
Had a front crank seal leak, not sure why its doing it as it was OK before I pulled the engine-pretty easy fix, so i'll address that
I rebuilt a turbo 400, so I was a little worried about it, but seems to be OK
If it wars up someday I will take it for a test drive, but 13 degs this morn, it can wait, lol

Let's not forget enough calcium chloride on the road to dissolve your quarter panels in 10 miles!

I can't wait for spring.
