The new shiny valve springs, locks, retainers. Pricey but could definitely feel weight diffrence from the old comp cam springs and retainers. They should be the bad boys in the market and it showed with the results too.

Got this boosted I.A.T. sensor.

I ended up ditching my old twin 255 pumps and setup and came up with a much better flowing design.

It was a fight to get those twin 465 lph pumps to fit inside the tank.

Round 1 E85, 3inch true duals, 4 inch pulley, nextek valvetrain, .040 bore, OBX headers 1-7/8, dual 465 pumps, FIC 160lb injectors.

At this point I got to car back from tuning. Best that day was 764 rwhp 722 rwtq 100 degree outside high humidity. Was ok but definitely not the gains I was looking for. I ran a 4 inch pulley 7.65 crank and could not get past 15 pounds of boost. Back to the drawing board it was. Did a boost leak test and it was boost leak city!! The worst of them all was the throttle body area. So it was time to do something about it.

Ready to go back home.

Found out that the blower had some air leakage but not a whole lot. But no leaks is what i was after.Took apart the volute and put sealant around and zero leaks.

Had some bad leakage at the blower coupler so i put some sealant and tighten her up.

Getting a template for the throttle body.

The gasket i cut out.

Welded plate to throttle body. 1/4 inch thick.

3/4 inch thick plate welded to the pipe.

Came out really good and works great. No more coupler and most importantly no more leaks. I wanted a setup where i could take on and off for service without ever worrying if there was going to be boost leaks.

I'm not sure but I know James knows what he is doing and he knows I didn't want an all out on the edge tune. He's tuned a few LT motors and I trust his knowledge.

I found significant boost leaks on the throttle body blade shaft on both ends. Also the tps sensor itself was gushing out from the sensor housing. Got all of it sealed and no more known leaks.

I ended up getting another custom cam. I was looking with something that had a lot more chop to it.

Compared to the comp cam. The machine finish was a lot more detailed and the cam bearing surface area had more width to it as well.

2/23/17 Round 2 bigger cam, 3.85 pulley, 7.65 crank, leaks fixed.

If your reading this thread thanks and hope I can put a good result for the LTX crowd. Clutch started to slip on the last run so it could have graphed more but I said that was good for the day for now. We didn't touch timing, afr, at all on that last run so who knows what it could have done. But I didn't want to go any further for now since the clutch was giving up at that point. I really do think it's got another 100 rwhp in her. Peak numbers is not the full story though. This thing is making crazy power and torque midrange and up. And at the end of the day drove the car home with A/C, radio blasting. Truly a street driving car with a 100 mile round trip to the dyno.

So gonna get some of my other projects more finished up and then I will be back and put some more parts and head back for yet another round and see if I can't maybe get Green Thing to the magic number.

James Karger is the guy. Calibrated by Karger if anyone else interested in the DFW area.

Didn't take long for word to get out I guess lol. Getting some recognition from Procharger themselves. So that's quite exciting!! Here's the facebook link.

Think I'm gonna surprise some LS folks when I say it's just an LT1 lol. Love those Xtremes just screaming! Enjoy!

It seems that this blower is maxing out. Right now I'm spinning it 67,598 @ 6,300 rpm of the rated max 68k from Procharger. On this setup it was doing 18psi. I was wanting to push it about 23psi but not sure if it can do it or that I would really need to honestly since it seems to be responding really well to power increase per psi. I know others have spun the blower up to even 10k+ over the rated rpm limit but before I go and try spinning it faster I was thinking about sending out the blower to steve morris and try out his pro volute combination. Anyone on here hAve any kind of feedback from him or try out the bell housing on their procharger units? I also thought this unit would have a little more gas to put out. My next option would be an F2 unit I guess.

Nice! Cool build. What are the specs of the new cam?

I'm surprised you're not pushing more PSI, but maybe you're top end just flows that well? No restriction on your inlet piping right?

Maybe I missed it, but what intercooler you running? Have you checked the pressure drop?

ditch the front mount and use an A2W much better anyway and less boost drop with lower iats (even as a daily driver)

That's a badass car. 900rwhp out of the LT1 is getting it done. And that color! Woo!

I'm also curious on the new cam specs? Sounds healthy!

Love the sound of the Corsas on it too. That gives me an idea for what to do with my Kooks True Duals. Does it resonate at all?
