Factory Parts Combo for Low Compression Setup(s) Setting aside for a moment the questions of "why would you want to do that?" or "would it really be a good/bad idea to do it?" or "have you thought about what that would do to the quench area of the combustion chamber?"
Does anyone know what combinations of parts would yield low compression ratios?
Thinking mostly of 4.8 and 5.3 parts, maybe something like a 4.8 with 5.3 rods? I need to learn more about the pin heights and dish volumes of the various pistons for the 4.8 and 5.3, but I'm guessing some people on this forum pretty much know this off the tops of your heads.
How low of compression ratios can be obtained from these combos? (approximately)

That would be the 5.3 dished pistons, but still on the 4.8 rods then?
Any thoughts on the next lower (more unreasonable) compression ratio with maybe 5.3 rods with 4.8 pistons if I'm following the progression correctly?
