Huron Speed twin turbo preliminary numbers
So I hit a little unexpected wall today but I wanted to share where im at so far and give credit where credit is due. Im running a Thompson motorsports 387ci lsx long block with trick flow cathedral port heads, fast 102 lsxr intake, a thompson specd cam, Of course the Huron Speed twin turbo kit with ptc 6766s, turbosmart bovs and wastegates, a monster bell intercooler, rossler 4l80, and a midwest chassis fab 9. fueling currently is a pair of 465lph walboros -10 feed, -8 return (ptfe for e85) feeding bosch 160lbs injectors. first full pull off the bat after tons of part throttle tuning was 1004 rwhp! that was only on the gates with 14 psi springs seeing about 16psi. we had a feeling it was going to be a beast from there. we slowly increased the duty cycle of the eboost2 10% at a time all the while staying in the high 10s up to 11.1 afr at only 17 degees timing on e85. at 23.5 psi we hit 1196 hp/1224tq! absolutely blew my mind that we hit this at only 23.5 psi with a lot more to go. started trying to add fuel and it turns out i would have been good at my previous hp goal but this thing is an f---ing monster and it wants more! So going to add another pump and get back at it after I finish the paint work. I didnt bother to take any pics or video up till then because I thought we were not done for the day at that point but I will be posting up video and pics in the future.
I want to personally thank Casey from Huron Speed for the countless hours he has spent with me from selecting the best base kit for me, the turbos, all the accessories, the Killer price he got me on my Thompson motorsports long block, the bmr k member, control arms and god knows how many other parts I got thru him. best prices BY FAR i could find. The boys at Thompson deserve a huge shoutout as well! I spent tons of time on the phone with casey and them getting exactly what I wanted for a motor, jjcamaro02 for building me a killer exhaust system, and my tuner who ive been driving crazy for the last week or so. Cant wait to see where this combo maxes out at!

looks like all of your research paid off. That's a monster of a setup! I'm hoping my lonely little 88mm with the LQ4 can put up half of what yours is doing. Can't wait to see track times to back these numbers!

thank you so much Jon! it has been an absolute pleasure working with you, and developing a friendship through this whole process. and just like everyone else, I CANNOT wait to see what this thing does when its all said and done.
Jon put his trust in me when it came to selecting parts for the build, we worked together on every aspect of the engine and turbo setup, along with the awesome guys at Thompson, this was just a great process!
the future holds some great things for this car, I'm just glad I get to be along for the ride!
if ANYONE needs anything, or especially if you are interested in a build similar to jons, please feel free to email me. I am always happy to help, day and night! (just ask Jon lol!)

would love some more info on your Ypipe set up. I am nearing completion of a similar, but slightly downsized build, and have been trying to figure out what i want to do on the exhaust. Running the Huron twin set up on a Thompson 370 with Precision 62/66's and will be pump gas for starters. I have a Mufflex 4" catback with Magnaflow muffler, but looking for ideas/examples on the Ypipe. I would love to have 3" stainless with a vband off of the HSP downpipes with an e-cutout on each bank before the merge. Just curious on some more details.
BTW, awesome numbers! 1,200+ just getting started is insane. I am hoping for 800 as a starting point (mostly street car) and then go from there as I get comfortable. No question the motor and kit can handle more as you have clearly demonstrated.
