I use a pedestal with dual 1/2npt inlets and outlets. Makes very easy to plumb dual pumps and normal fittings

For the 380 prefilter there is a really nice filter out there that screws right to the pump

These are supposed to be nice for a spin-on replacement too. listed at 2 micron. Believe it's diesel stuff? Friend just sent the link... I haven't tried them.

Rancor sells these with 20,10 and 2 micron filters. I have both and pre filter my diesel through them. You can see any crud and water settle in the bottom before it enters the filters. Yes they work fine with e85 too.

$25 version is smaller.

Larger version for $50

Here is a ton of info in 2 micron filters including the cat diesel filters.
All work good with e85.

any of you guys ran those filters over 50psi? I guess that's the max flow rating for them.

Believe this has been asked already. But thats max suggested pressure for maximum flow. I've ran them at 70-80psi with no issues. They flow a ton as is. So it's a non-issue for most of us. I even put 120psi worth of shop air on them to try and deform or blow it up. It gave no visible signs of a problem.

Use a "T" bolted to the frame. I used some tubing and 1/2" steel. Then hose clamp around the body to the "T". Super sturdy.

I clamped around the body on another build with too. Seems fine.

dragging up old news.
How have these been working? I was told by magnafuel I needed a 70 micron or larger pre pump and 25 micron or larger post pump. I am worried about these smaller micron filters restricting flow. Just for the record I have maxed out my A1000 pump and moving to a magnafuel 4303 for more flow.

The micron rating can't be too small post pump no matter the flow...

You just need to have enough filtering area at the flow desired so there isn't a pressure drop.. the lower the micron the more area needed at the same flow

Best thing I have done was go away from a magnafuel post filter and to a wix spin on. The filter has 2 inlets and 2 outlets, it makes plumbing dual pumps cake

Spin off, throw away, no messes..... Better filtering and much longer service intervals

Rotary, can that be set up for a single inlet? If so, do you have a part number for the dual inlet/outlet base?

Since it took me some digging to find these 3/4" NPT to -8 AN, I thought I'd post the link just in case anyone else goes down this road.

What filter base are these for? My NAPA base used 1/2 NPT. I used Summit 220847B fittings.
