Default Best head gaskets for 800rwhp boost?

I'm looking on texas speed for head gaskets and unsure what to get. I have a ls1 with p/p 806 casting heads (flow better than 243's) and was looking at either ls9 head gaskets or cometic. I am doing head studs and will look into what thickness after heads are off.

Besides heads/cam/intake/ supporting mods the bottom end is stock. Meaning I would also be looking for thickest head gasket I can find to at least help compression somewhat.

If you dont need a custom thickness head gasket go with the ls9s for sure.

I personally never had good luck with cometics especially in daily driver situations. After 5k miles on my last engine it would leak coolant in the cylinders

Went to the ls9s and have 10k miles now with no issues at all. 900 whp 100 passes and a million mexico highway runs.

The heads have been off years ago when the h/c/i swap was done. I am switching to head studs now and need gaskets. I figured ls9's are best bet

I would go with the LS9's if you are pulling it down anyways. The factory MLS 5.3/5.7 gaskets would prob be just fine but the ls9's would be my pick...

I'm going with LS9 head gaskets on the new short block.
