Best place for mail order tune for turbo kit?
First off, before anyone says anything. Obviously it's getting dyno tuned. I am looking for suggestions of places that do mail order tunes for my car when my turbo kit is done. I have a brand new clutch, 80lb injectors, new fuel system, the works besides my h/c/i. I am looking to get a mail order tune just to start the car up, drive it a couple hundred miles in stop and go traffic out of boost, then drive to get it dyno tuned after the clutch is broken in.
http://www.lsxpowertuning.com/ is my main suggestion at the moment.

Try to contact your tuner to see if he can get you a baseline before you get it to the dyno. I've done this a few times. Pulled the computer out and dropped it off to the tuner for a flash. I'm sure it would save some $$ compared to paying someone else for a mail order tune and then your tuner for a dyno tune.

We tune several turbo vehicles a week through email and in person, plus do base tunes for them. A base tune for a turbo setup through mail order is very hard to do because of the size of the injectors and the custom fuel system that goes along with it. We have got some very close and a few that would barely run and tell everyone that upfront. Its alot better when they have tuning software and we can email changes incase we do miss the fueling.

We can't agree with this more. We see people do this all the time and trash the clutch instantly. Whatever warranty your clutch comes with will be null and void if it wasn't broken in properly.

I would think that you could put it on the dyno and tune it to be drivable without any "power pulls" though. Say everything under 100kpa Then when you get it broke in and ready to be wot tuned it would be easier for your tuner to tune it because all the out of boost areas in the map that take all the time would be done or just need a little touching up.

I second going to your tuner and having him put a base tune in it.
My tuner does that all the time and then puts that base tune money towards the dyno tune later so in the end you'll save money. Example: $500 dyno tune ='s $200 base tune then the other $300 when it's time to dyno it. I'd call your tuner and ask if this is a option.
