Do you have the sense terminal hooked up on the alternator? This terminal tells the alternator that you’re upping the demand when other things power up. I picked up .8 to 1 volt just doing this and I was already charging 13.8 consistently. I log voltage and it’s dead flat no matter what’s running.

Power master confirmed my alt had a faulty voltage regulator and replaced it. Then ran it on their dyno with my pulley configuration up to 7k without issue. So it's reinstalled. They also said to upgrade the charging system wire diameter. So I left my 4 ga wire back to the battery and added an additional 0/1ga wire to it. (IE $38 heavy duty china jumper cable wire from amazon) Seeing about a .2v drop at the battery now. Was .5 before. No more bearing whine/noise. Haven't been able to take it out and flog on it hard yet. I'm hopeful.
Also previously had 2 30a relays powering my 2 AEM380's. I now have 1 30a and 1 70a (bosch) relay feeding 1 large diameter power wire to the bus next to the pumps.

So holding 13.7v to 7k these days. Not what I was hoping for, but better than falling off line completely. Had a really bad track outing. Turns out the coil wires had chaffed into my coil covers and exposed some wire. Spent all day chasing my tail and it was too late to make a run by the time I found it. Hope to sneak it out to the track 1 last time before it closes.

bummer about the track outing. Seems some track trips I work on my car more than I drive it.
What did you end up doing with the rear axles? You still running the 4 stud setup?

Spoiled with the previous years of 13.9v I suppose! It is running 2 fuel pumps now, but the fans shut off at WOT. It shouldn't be pulling that many amps.
Still on the 4 lug. Spoke with ARP and a few racers that basically said what happened was a freak occurrence. Likely poor studs were used and mistreated. I bought new ARP studs and stayed 4 lug. I know the history and quality of the part this time so I'm not too worried. (much anyway)

Not too much to report. Still a great street toy. Been too hot to drive much in KS this summer. Drove it to work and to and from car shows a few times. Been running great... Just filled up on 91 this weekend and ran 30 miles or so to clean out the E85 "goo" we seem to get around here when cars set. Been working on the new car lately so this ones on the back burner.
