Default Anyone in here running F1a-94?

Intake came loose and nicked my D1 procharger impeller. Not super serious but has me considering upgrading to F1a-94 procharger this year. current setup is ~900whp 427ci D1SC procharger on c6 corvette, mostly street car but occasional 1/2 mile & rollrace events.

Anyone in here have f1a94 dyno sheets?

Anyone running the F1a94 on a straight 8 rib belt without slip at >900whp?

goal would be maybe ~930whp on a conservative tune with more top end and rpm than the d1 setup has

Per ProCharger the 94 shines up in the mid range/upper rpm where the normal F1A is better in the lower/mid range.

Yeah, I've seen that. I've found a few dynos with different pulleys and that told me enough. I just can't remember where I've seen them. For me, given that the car is mostly a drag car now, this is a better fit than my D1 and will allow me to up the HP level easily.

my discussions with Procharge said that I'd probably be giving up 50-70whp/tq in the midrange but gain potentially 100-200hp in the upper rpm band. Procharger said the f1a94 is the most efficient blower they make in this volute size too for parasitic drag per hp/psi. They said it's the only really modern blower they make with the f1x technology in that size.

I have heard of guys going 170s in the 1/4 on the f1a94 but was hoping for some dyno curves or real life experience on street cars. Would be nice to compare one to a Ysi or something.

I'm surprised more guys don't run these. The normal f1a and d1sc are super old technology and while slightly down in tq, which may actually help traction on the street, the F1a94 should have less belt slip issues with wayyyyy more top end potential.

hey Troy, what kind of belt setup do you plan to run with your f1a94? 8 or 10 rib belt? will you be running a direct/dedicated belt or just one belt to run all the accessories and the blower?

I haven't heard of the 10 rib for my setup. I have the Aster bracket so I believe the highest you can do is 8-rib.

Thanks for the order Troy. The F-1A-94 will work out well with your Aster bracket and the 8 rib belt. Bob

hey Bob,

what is the highest whp you have seen out of the F1a94 on customer cars on an 8 rib belt?

what is the highest whp or highest mph trap speed you have seen from customer cars on the 94a overall?

do you have any dyno sheets from your D1sc setup? are you going to be changing anything else at the same time?

Thanks, I appreciate it!

I'm not sure what my customer's have been running with the F-1A-94, but here are several from ProCharger's website. Thanks. Bob

Aaron Bates is the other winner at the All-Star Nationals. Bates and Dez Racing stunned the field in the Edelbrock Renegade class when he unleashed a 7.40 at 187 mph run during round one of eliminations. He powered his way through a few more rounds to take the win in the finals against a Vortech powered competitor. Aaron's 87 Mustang is powered by a Small Block Ford with boost from a ProCharger F-1A-94!

1993 Mustang
ProCharger F-1A-94

Last year Joel had an outstanding year in this KBX prepped Mustang using a turbocharged combination, however this year swapped to the small yet powerful ProCharger F-1A-94 supercharger. Joel and the KBX team made sure all eyes were on this car, as it went round after round consistently till it took the win, but also the fact that it ran quicker and faster then it had ever run before setting a new record (4.76@149).

Another car out of the TyTech camp is the 2002 Trans-Am owned by George Toll. This car was put together just days before the event, and with its F-1A-94 qualified 10th in Ultimate Street. Having such a small amount of time on the car, and being able to qualify that well, shows that this car will be on a roll with more testing time. Congrats to the George for this fantastic first time out!

nice! what intercooler did you have before? I'm still on the stock ECS intercooler and at 900whp am guessing I'd need to upgrade mine at some point

I have a dyno sheet but have since purchased EFI Live and re-tuned it and picked up 3 mph at the track.

I'm also upgrading to the ProCharger race intercooler, 95# injectors, headers, custom Y, Aster bracket and different pulley size
