Default Heat exchanger fans off at hyway speeds?

Does leaving my intercooler fans on at hyway speed reduce cooling? My 83 cutlass ly6/whipple 2.9 has a 4 core w/ derale dual fan set up. Also has Ac condensor, trans cooler , then gt500 heat exchanger in front w/ dual fans.
Rad fans are set to shut off@ 65mph . Inter cooler pump and fans are on manual switch. I'm wondering if I should put fans on a separate switch to shut off during hyway use. Car seems to run a little hotter during extended hyway use.
