Default On3 7876 vs pt7675.... The dyno results (video inside)

So, as some of you know...I had a precision go bad last week, and after getting the runaround from precision I decided to give on3 a try. Had some people say that a China turbo is junk and won't make good power. Well, here are the results....made three pulls each session, but these are the last runs from both sessions (highest boost pulls). The one from last month was at exactly 21 psi....the one from today was at 20.5 psi. Yes, the car is a touch down on peak power.....but nearly identical as far as torque. I'm going to go ahead and call this a win, because for $400 this "China junk" came very close in overall rwhp.....and was the same on torque as the almighty precision turbo. Graphs and numbers are below.I'm in the process of uploading the video to YouTube....will post when finished. Oh, and btw this is the exact same dyno that was used last time. Mustang dyno. Please excuse the bad filming, it was not me.....I was in the car doing the run.

Thanks man. But I think it's more than 1k difference, as the precision had a billet compressor wheel. I decided to call it good at 21psi as it gets a bit lean around there, going to tune for more boost here soon.

Not bad at all. I was expecting closer to 100 rw. I'm guessing the precision is better balanced and flows more at higher rpm? Dang car makes some torque, what's your setup consist of?

Ls2 (9:5:1), forged callies rods and crank, diamond pistons, untouched ls6 heads and intake, tu1 cam, 100# injectors, twin walbro 342 pumps, 3 inch single exhaust, monster ceramic clutch, intercooled, and is on E85.

Beat me to it. Sorry for the bad pics guys. Torque was 908 with the precision......898 for the 7876.

Thanks for posting up the results. I'll be happy with 700rwhp on my build so it seems like I should be able to reach my goal with what I have.

Keep in mind that On3 is supposed to come out with a billet wheel for this turbo sometime this year. You may end up not losing much of anything with that.

I'm glad you're up and running, I only want to correct your claim on torque as your peak may be the same but area under the curve on both hp/tq are down a lot. Look at the numbers near the end of the run to see the difference and that's the RPM you're racing at. The China junk is clearly out matched. Whether it's $1k outmatched is up to you. If I had a built motor turbo car, which I do, and I only made that hp on full kill I'd be pretty pissed.

They're gonna be making billet wheels and stainless Vband turbines. .. it's on their instagram page @On3performance. . Good info though. Same turbine A/R ratios?
