Default [VR] Camaro SS LS3 - D1SC/Meth/Cam 690rwhp

We'd like to take a moment to highlight one of our past builds that we did not have a previous thread for. This synergy green Camaro SS came to us back in early 2011 for its first round of modifications shortly after being purchased from the dealer and began with a basic package including a Vararam cold air intake, ARH longtube header system, and several other bolt-on modifications. Since then, the car has taken off to a whole new level making right at 690rwhp and 603rwtq on the stock LS3 bottom end through a Procharger D1SC supercharger system and a heap of other VR modifications!

The complete modification list on this car includes:
  • Procharger Stage II D1SC supercharger system
  • Vengeance Racing Stage II LS3 camshaft kit
  • American Racing 1 7/8" longtube header system
  • AlkyControl dual nozzle methanol injection w/ 4 gallon trunk resevoir
  • ZL1 fuel pump
  • Borla ATAK axle-back
  • RPM Transmissions 3.91 differential
  • RPS BC2 twin-disc clutch kit
  • MGW short shifter
  • **TRACK** 18x10 and 18x8 Weld RTS S77B with 325/40/18 M&H drag radials
  • DSS 1000HP axle set
  • DSS 3.5" 1-piece aluminum driveshaft
  • Pfadt Stage II suspension kit (springs/sway bars)
  • BMR total suspension bushing kit
  • DMH dual electric cutouts
  • TCI Rollstop line-lock kit
  • Raptor single stage shift light
  • Aeroforce dual Interceptor gauges

With these modifications in place, the car offers an extremely smooth ride, while also delivering blistering power, and extreme handling capabilities. Our customer wanted a build that offered the "best of all worlds" that he could not only take on a long cruise, but also perform well with at any track event. He has yet to get to the drag strip with the car to set a number as of yet, but we are expecting ET's well into the 10 second range. He was able to make it to his first 1/2 mile event, and while being limited by the 3.91 gear causing him to run in 5th gear for a long duration of the track, he still ended with a best mph of 154 at over 6,000 feet of elevation in the Virginia mountains!

We are now in talks for a forged shortblock, and swapping the supercharger over to an F1 series variant to shoot for the 1,000rwhp mark over the winter! Stay tuned as we get prepared to turn up the wick on this incredible 5th generation Camaro!
