Radiator with the F-Body Huron Speed front mount AC retaining kit?
You guys that are running this kit, what are you using for a radiator? Did you have to cut anything to make it work?

I am using this radiator: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/gri-1-55241-xs
I am pretty sure you have to cut the brace at the top, mine was already cut and recessed into it when I bought it.

Radiator
I'm running the big *** BeCool unit from the WS6 Store with a T7875 turbo.
I notched the underside of the upper core support pretty heavily, cut the locating pin off the bottom of the radiator and bolted in a piece of 1"x1" angle steel in the bottom of the core support to move the bottom of the radiator forward 1" to clear the larger turbo.
Still retaining AC but had to remove the washer fluid bottle because the fans hit it but with a little work I can get it back in.
Temp gauge never really moves, if I'm really hammering on it it might move a little lol.
If I had the fans directly on the radiator it would be much more efficient but I love my AC so...
If you put the fans directly on the stock radiator and spaced the condenser forward so the fans weren't blowing through the condenser and then into the radiator it would probably work a lot better.

So your using them as pushers, just reversed the polarity? You have the stock LS1 radiator?
******, I've seen the thread where you put it in. I'm just hoping not to cut up the car. Most likely I'll just end up getting one and make it fit. I don't want to worry about it overheating.

I've got Hurons ac kit on my car. Just got tuned this past weekend. I'm using the stock radiator, fans removed but am using 2 derale pusher fans mounted up against the ac condenser. Didn't have to cut the core support at all and I'm using the bmr stainless steel radiator support. Everything fit well.

Took it out last night to do some more data logging. Temps wanted to run 220-228 just cruising trying to fill VE cells. It did pull down when I got out on the hwy. When I got back noticed it didn't want to cool down enough to turn off the fans. When I checked the fans only one was working. I did away with the crap fuses that came with them, and wired in heavy duty circuit breakers. That fan had tripped the breaker. Seems like these fans are hit or miss if you get a good one, these are brand new.
