LSA superchargers warranty replacents??

Default LSA superchargers warranty replacents??

anyone have an idea how guys are keeping the old noisey chargers off these cars? a buddy is getting his ZL1 done soon and theyre telling him has to be sent back to GM
I was hoping to get it for an LS3- I dont mind paying something but no?
heard people selling on Evilbay cheap but I havent seen many and they weren't cheap

It would be normal under any warranty for the original unit to be returned.

They were pulling the whole units and replacing them with a solid coupler unit, then used ones started popping up on ebay and a solid coupler was only $70 or so. GM eventually decided to have the tech's just replace this piece instead so that way the used ones weren't all over the place. I got mine for my G8 for $500 with 20kish miles or so, spring inside snapped, new coupler and threw it on the car and as good as the new one my buddies V got.
