Default Biggest baddest "standard t4 turbo"

Like the title states , what's is the biggest t4 turbo that spool quickly and makes big hp? Regardless of cost , i just wanna know if there's a turbo out there that'll spool great , and make 1000 rwhp consistently on a Huron v1 ac kit, and can see closer to 1500 rwhp on kill? I'm not sure such a turbo exists but as I'm new to the turbo scene ,I'm sure someone can add some light to the situation. Mid frame t4 won't work as it requires extensive modifications and i want a bolt in turbo only .

a t4 etr ho s476 borg will get you above 1000 mark with the 92mm turbine but I read somewhere they have a t4 housing that will fit a 96 mm wheel

I don't know where that will get you on kill but a t4 96 mm turbine and a billit 80 compresser is a fairly strong turbo. they make bigger compresser wheels but I don't think it makes any sence to have more compresser than the turbine will flow.

I'm sure some of the turbo guys will chime in and help with the hp numbers.my guess is 1500 is a stretch for any t4 . but I might be wrong.

Baddest standard T4 turbo is going to be something like a Precision 7675cea, Turbonetics Billet T-7575, etc. Which makes about 800 rwhp on 5.3-6.0l set-ups, some have made in the 900 range.

For 1000 with ease and 1400-1500 rwhp capable, you are going to need something close to 2 of those with a twin kit.

What happened to the S484 ETR.....I thought that was the king of T4's. Its the one I was going to buy for my Huron Speed V2 single kit.

I want to make a little more than 1,000 RWHP with my 390ci 10.2:1 cr. Full time E85. 4L80E.

Is 1,000 RWHP not going to happen....?

Id think the pt88/47 would be right up there... but 1500whp isn't happening on a stock block. And to make it happen on a single T4 you'd need a pretty small engine.

I spoke with Jonathan at Huron and he has already told me that it isn't possible on my kit. It's looking like the entire turbo setup "minus the 7868, as I have a pair for the build we are discussing" ls1/t56 will all go into a 3rd gen roller of mine, and I'm stuck without ac on the twin kit for my 4th gen. It is what it is, but I really had hoped I could find a way too make the power I wanted , and still have ice cold air, as this truly is a 90% street car . Tsp 408 with ds crank, Callie's billet rods, diamond Pistons, prc 247cc heads , Holley hp efi, level 5 t56 magnum(tr6060) from tick performance , crp fab 9 with s trac, I am just trying to get my ducks in a row here and find out what can and can't be done. At least nothing I've bought will go to waste however, and I should have a quick little 3rd gen for a shop car to play around in.

He said standard t4 to bolt up to the kit, a s400 is not that. S400 has a 4" exit as is a much larger frame than what bolts up on his kit.

We can fit a s400 on our kit (fits much better on our v2 kits than a v1) but it requires a 4" exhaust.

S400 can make 1000rwhp no problem but definitely not 1400-1500 RWHP and it is not a standard t4 to bolt on to the kit he has. Hope this helps!

Which are also mid frames. Guy is asking for standard t4 turbos with 3" turbine exits to bolt on to his v1 ac kit with no modifications.

Thats right...I think I spoke to you awhile back about using a mid-frame T4......

I just fail to see how making a new 4" exhaust is some crazy difficult task, or moving the radiator.

The snow ball effect.

Move the radiator forward, might need new radiator hoses and a/c lines.

Maybe not able to fit a 4" downpipe out to the back, not everyone wants a bumper/hood exit.

It's possible you can "live" up north without a/c, but down here in the south you need it. Just because what is easy or right for you doesn't mean it is for the next person.

This is what I'm working with fellas, I like it when the turbo looks like it was meant to be there 👍🏻 and the way this kit lays out that's exactly how it appears ..
