Default Exhaust flange not matching turbo 100%? Normal?

I bought an Ebay GT45 turbo from a store (not sure if they are a sponsor or not). I also ordered a T4 flange from the same store.

The flange does not match up 100% to the turbo. The bolt holes line up, but the ports are slightly off.

Is this normal? Do I just need to grind down the turbo side to match the flange? or do I need a new flange lol

I wouldn't worry about it.

My flange didn't match up either, so we took the compressor housing off the turbo and "port matched" it with a die grinder.

I run a divided turbo on a non-divided flange. No complaints on performance.

Shouldn't make much of a difference in performance, well if it does it will be so minimal u wont notice.

Looks like China. That would bother me.. I say If you have the tools to smooth it out for a clean transition then do it. While minuscule it will still cause turbulence.

Dont forget you still have to add your hotside piping to it, so they will take up some of that space.

Wont make a damned bit of difference you could ever feel or measure.
