So first test will be welding a pair of injectors into the compressor housing and feeding them e85 from my current system. Starting off slow and low dc and watching iat's till you see the odd plunge where you know the sensor is alchohol soaked, that and keeping an eye on egt
I could try straight e98 liked discussed but may not have enough fuel pump at that point
I just need data is all
Thanks for everyone who listened, and gave great feedback

Well, I have the FTI converter already so going to give it a shot. We talked about restalls and them able to ready megasquirt logs. I'm very impressed with there service so far
I'm hitting up Toutle the first part of the season. They have there top ten list race starting on April 29th. I'm in the small tire class, and very excited
Replacing my Pro ratchet with a 1/4 stick. So far it feels way better to operate

I was able to get the direct drum assembled last night. Ordered a new piston and glad I did, the new Sonnax is way beefier than the stock pc and extra tall which allowed me to machine it for the clearance I wanted
Same with reverse, but this one I ordered the billet piston and somewhere along the way I made a small mistake and took to much off. I called FTI to discuss my options and thicker reverse steels were shipped out. I'll only need three of them to get my clearance back down to the .085-.090 range. Those will be here tomorrow so tonight I may go ahead and assemble the tranny to check for endplay. I'm running a roller bearing on the pump so I know it will need shimmed and since we shim under the output shaft that will allow me to get reverse assembled tomorrow and hopefully all finished up over the weekend and installed

Powerglide is all assembled and weight compared my 80e, empty with my converter versus my empty powerglide with its converter. 80e is 225lbs and Glide is 130. Given the Glide runs less fluid, I pulled out 100lbs it feels like, that's sustancial

Last year was right around 2775 based on the amount of fuel I ran. Along with this Glide install, I replaced the stock gutted dash with an .032 alum one, stock seat for a kirkey, Detroit for a spool, stock steering wheel for an alum one, lost some wiring, redid my radiator and lost weight there, along with alum front hubs and redoing the fuel cell that won't have to carry 6 gallons to make sure the sumps are covered to one that 3 gallons will suffice for a single pass. All told, I added up about 275lbs of stuff, so really hoping I'm in the 2500 range race ready

Car fired up today. Not one trouble so far. Tranny seems to be working well, loads up on the brake nicely. I'll get a gauge on it soon and then install my pressure sensor to datalog it

Track day is getting close. Been working on my car trailer making it more race car friendly
Should be able to get the car out of the garage later this week and test it all out
Was able to get an initial weight tonight. Car still has some tools in it, and needs about 2 gallons of fuel added. Came in at 2133

The big items are Glide versus the 80e, no more a/w intercooler, alum dash versus the stock gutted one, kirkey seat versus stock seat, smaller and better shaped fuel cell, spool versus locker, and a little smaller radiator with smaller end tanks
Every little bit helps
Edit, full gear and chute on the car. 2339

Couple things. I have a full belly pan, well right back to the front 4 link mounts, I did a bunch of research and installed those little vortex generators to keep the air flow down the hatch instead of disrupting it and I do have a wing. I might add more vertical sections to it in the middle as well this year. And I try to keep the front end a little lower than the rear
Edit, it's not wanting to load my pic. I'll get one up later
