Default 06 Silverado 4.8 f1 procharger or lsa conversation?

Ok so I haven't posted here since my ws6 build years ago since then I've moved on to wanting to build a truck. Truck is an 06 reg cab 2wd with a stock 4.8 so far mods are auburn pro series with 4.56s exhaust and tune. I have all the parts to build the trans and a yank converter waiting to go in, next I'll be doing long tubes and y pipe also a blower cam undecided on which one yet. So I wanted to put an f1 procharger on it with the house of boost dd bracket system. But a free lsa blower happen to come available. The only thing about the lsa blower is I need to source a lot of parts, space all the pulleys or move them closer to the motor, injectors, fuel rail, throttle body, x link etc etc the list is long... Help me decide... Thanks

So the options are F1 or LSA blower? I don't think I have seen anyone do either of those on a 4.8. If the LSA blower is free that would be the clear winner for me.

Yes it is free, there are a few companies that make adapters to go from rectangle to cathedral port. But like I said I have to change the belt system depending on if I want one belt for everything or 2 belts... Also all of the blower cooling stuff

Throw on an F1a and post results.

Huge difference between the two. F1 is a 900+rwhp setup, LSA is a PD style blower for ~600-700rwhp. For a basic street fun setup, I would do the LSA. If the goal is to be as fast as possible and more of a track/race build, I would do the centri blower.

The f1 was my first choice but I would have $4500 in just the blower and bracket system... As for the lsa I'm around $2000.. So I'm starting to lean towards the lsa

Well I'm going with the lsa blower.. Ordered bracket, pulleys, intake adapter plates and fuel rails from Olsen customs... If anyone is ever thinking about doing a lsa blower on a truck they are the way to go. They offer the easiest truck spacing kit. Also ordered a Texas speed blower cam push rods springs headers and y pipe...
