Fuel Filter & Dual Pumps Manifold

Fuel Filter & Dual Pumps Manifold
Setting up a fuel system for my buddy's turbo Notch and need some recommendations. It will have a cell in the spare tire well and 2 AEM 380s under the car, pass-side of the well. Plenty of room for the pumps but when you add in pre-pump filters (street car) and a Y at the pump outlets, things get tight real fast. Looking for a recommendation on a good, compact (short) pre-pump filter and a dual-pump log manifold or a very compact Y setup for the outlets. I've seen the log manifolds on eBay but they all reference using the Bosch 044 check-valve fitting.
This is what I am referring to: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-044-High-...RXZPVb&vxp=mtr
Anyone using something like this or have an opinion?
Appreciate any feedback.

Believe the 044 check valves will thread into the AEM pumps. at $15 each that be something to look into.

Then run one of these $20 twin pump adaptors.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Billet-Alumi...NXoAHl&vxp=mtr
For $22 shipped you can buy 2 of the bosch clones and get 2 pumps for $14 and rob the check valves off them.

Or these that claim 300lph for a bit more.

They say will work with alcohol fuels but pump life is diminished.
Flow more than the 044 and share external dimensions.
Flows more than standard 400 lph Walbro pumps @ 58 PSI, and actually flows more than the big Walbro E85 450 lph pump above ~75 PSI.

Right, but the dual pump bars are setup for the 044 style check valves, not the ones AEM includes. So you'd need a set of 044 style check valves to run these bars. I was just mentioning you can get the whole pumps for not much more than the check valves alone.
Alsgoat was running a mild cammed 5.3 and 88/83 around 20lbs on 1 AEM380 before running out of fuel on 80's. So they seem to make pretty decent power. I've got one ready to go on my mustang. If I ever get the harness for it, I'll have better info.

I had never seen these Y blocks for $22. Might work with the supplied check valves too.

This is pretty cool compact package too.

The Bosch check valve works with a pump outlet of M12x1.5 and the AEM pumps have a -6 ORB fitting for the outlet.

Any thoughts on compact, but not restrictive pre-pump filters.
Why are these blocks designed to use the check valves? Are they actually using the check valve or just because that's how the 044s are delivered?
