Default Fuel System for D1X - ID has new 1050X injectors

So, I was looking at fuel components last night and saw that ID has a new 1050 injectors (LS3-sized) that are an unmodified injector they collaborated with Bosch in making. It's following the 1300X and 1700X line. Since these aren't modified injectors and are flow-matched the same way as the ID1000s, I think this are going to be just right for my build. Pricey, but only a bit more than the ID1000s.

Anyway, I'm probably going overkill on the fuel system for a D1X... but the build plan is as follows:

D1X Procharger, Aster Bracket, Procharger FMIC, 3.4" Pulley ~ 15-16PSI
ID1050X Injectors run at base 58psi boost referenced
Nasty Performance -8AN/-6AN PTFE Hoses, Billet Rails, Magnafuel FPR
Squash Twin Walbro 450 Pumps w/Upgraded 40A Wiring Harness
Alky Control Meth Injection

Motor (most I have and run already)
383 Iron Block 5.3 w/Compstar Crank/Rods and -15cc Wiseco Boost Pistons
ARP Main Studs and Head Studs
TEA Stage 2 LS6 Heads 62cc (10.1:1 CR)
LS9 MLS Gaskets
BTR 227/244 115+5 Supercharger Cam
Johnson Short Travel Lifters
FAST 102/102
Kooks 1-7/8" LTs w/Kooks 3" TDs
CircleD 4C 3600 Triple Disk Converter
FLT Stage 6 4L60E
Strange S60 w/3.54 Gear and S-Trac (plan to use a 26" tire)
Firecore50 Wires and NGK R5671A-8 Plugs (non-projected tip gasket style)
93 Octane w/100% Methanol Injection

What do you guys think?

I think the fuel system is overkill - but will easily support 900rwhp or more. And will probably support 800rwhp E85 if I ever go that route. The D1X is good for like 50-100HP more than the D1SC and that already makes 750+ with a good motor on 93/Meth. So I think my goal of hitting close to 800 through a locked auto will be close.

I bought this trans used a few years ago after FLT refreshed it. It was behind an 800rwhp Turbo setup. So I feel good using it to that point. Beyond that, and it's 4L80 time.

The other option I thought about was Twin Walbro 255s and Deka 80s. It would save damn near a grand. And they would support 800rwhp. But I have no room to grow with that setup and can't really move to E85 down the line if it becomes available around here if I'm near 800rwhp.

I went with dual 255s and id1000s with a -8feed and -6 return. Should be good for 950-1000rwhp but im not going e85. Im straight 93 and meth for my 402 f1a build

What are you going to set your base pressure to? 50psi?

I like the Squash kit and can do the DW200s (255 equivalents), but it's only $100 more for the 450s. And to be honest, I trust the 450s a heck of a lot more than the DW200s for a car that's driven on the street. I know I can set the base at 58psi, and I have plenty of flow even at 75psi with the 450s. And at that point, the 1000s are pushing a lot of fuel. I think even with an 80% duty cycle they would flow like 548 L/hr... and dual 450s would push 656 L/hr @ 80psi. So that's more than enough for 1200HP on gas or about 900HP on E85.

If i was to do it over i would have done the same. But at the time i bought the kit from lonnies these kits werent really on the market like the squash and chris1313 kit. I would love to sell the kit and buy a squash or chris1313 but i cant justify pulling a brand new kit that i havent run yet(bought over 2 ago at the start of this buils). Will probably set base pressure at 55-58 psi

Yeah, I hear you. I was looking at Lonnie's. It's a good bit cheaper and retains the stock basket. But eh.

The first fuel setup you listed is what I would go with. Hell of e85 will become available I'd just grab the ID1300s.

Yeah, that's true. Just wish they weren't almost twice as much. But they do idle fine.

I am still waiting for E85 around here. The navy base has it, but it's a 45 min drive for me to get there. So I could just fill up a 55gal drum and do it that way.

Did you get the id1050 ? I'm going to buy the same ones. Was wondering how do you like them . The 80lbs deka are giving me a heck of a time tuning even with the data available.. getting rid of the lsxrt Intake and 92 mm NW tb.. putting on the stock intake and tb with the ID1050 figure it should be ok with a single turbo setup.
