Im currently putting a s484 in my V2 AC kit..... There is no way to fit that big of a turbo in there without modifying your rad support. Honestly kind of wish I went with an "average" size turbo like everyone else (75-80mm).

My plan is to mod my rad support like necrocannibal did. Also going use two Derale pusher fans. Running an LT1 radiator and stock AC condensor.

Also if it matters- running the front bumper exit exhaust. Which has to be modified as well to fit the biggest exhaust flange on the turbo.

Keep us updated fastcars95!

I'm not sure what he is referring to? I have no locating rods? The bottom sits on a rubber grommet on the drain side, and a rubber U on the other. The top is only held by the cover that bolted to the support and uses 2 rubber u shaped mounts to locate the top.

I think what compressor cover used makes a big difference. I've considered cutting my T4 flange off and welding on a T6 in its place. Since the same turbo is about $250 less in a T6 version. And why choke it to a T4 anyhow? I can buy a T6 flange for about $40, so I save about $210. I think as long as I don't use one of the v2 race covers it will fit. But that is a project for next year. Looking at the drawings, the S400 series with the standard cover only needs about another 1/2 of clearance vs the T series I have, on the radiator side. The compressor cover outer dimensions are basically 9 1/2" vs 8 1/2 inches. The turbine side is moot, because the compressor is the limiting factor.

When you moved the radiator forward a 1/2"....did the factory condensor fit perfectly?

I need to move my radiator forward 2 inches to fit the S485 with V2 race cover. But I'm wondering what happens to the condensor......then pusher fans in the front.....??

Thats exactly what I want to do.....full exhaust and a cut-out off the turbo pointing straight down to the ground.

Do you have pics of your exhaust set up from off the turbo going back to where a "Y" pipe would be?

I'm running a t4 s475 on a Huron non AC v2, though I'm running a stand up griffin rad. I don't have a whole lot of room between the exhaust housing and the rad, even with it flush to the rad support. The car is a storage shelf right now, but I can try and snap some pictures of where the turbo sits if you'd like.
I can't see there being much of a difference in turbo location from the non-ac to the ac kit, but I've been wrong before.
If an LT1 radiator is stood up vertical, will the condensor and pusher fans fit in the front still?

My condenser and lines would work but I am not sure that at 2" the factory lines would reach. Huron sells a ac lines kit that solves that problem.

The upper rad support will need notched on the underside where it is not visible for the upper Pusher fan if you were on 12 inch or larger fans as I did because you have to stagger them. I did not need to Notch my support because my fans are still about an 8th inch away

Do you happen to have a picture of your pusher fans mounted to the front of the condensor?

Another thing we are making is a custom sheet metal shroud.....so the entire surface of the condensor will get air blasted through it by the pusher fans. The shroud will keep the fans away from the condensor surface about 1/4"-1/2".....

You'll need to notch your upper or lower rad support to allow room then
