Default F1-x 427 lsx

Hey guys Im in need of help/info on this one. Ive been looking into a 427 LSX by LME and I wanted to go with procharger preferably a F1X, question is what will it take to fit it in a 97 camaro? or will i have no clearance issues? Should I be maybe looking at F1-A94 instead. I see plenty of guys out there with a 408 running a F1A with no clearance issues. my next question pertains to the intake side. I dont want to cut my cowl, or my hood and I know the wilson Ls7 intake fits, Dose anyone know if the LME Ls7 intake will fit? I see that the FAST 102 and MSD do, but i want to stay away from composite, I read that the holley low profile snipper intake put down much lower numbers (40 rwhp) then a stock ls2 intake.

My goals for the car are to remain stock looking on the outside, its a drag car only, 1000-1200 rwhp, want mid 8s in the 1/4. car already has a 10 point cage, ford 9" and BMR full race suspension. th400 trans

Mid 8's with an F-1A-94 won't be a problem as long as the suspension is set up for it. Check out Mike Wabuda and his Trans-Am that has an F-1A-94 here. Bob
