Default How much power will ID1000 injectors support in FI.

I know it depends on fuel, pressure etc, but what is the max HP you can get out of ID1000 injectors on pump or E85?

Single turbo 5.3 build if that matters.

From what I have heard for an 8 cylinder, expect 1 HP per CC with E85.
So,ID1000's should be 1000 CC injectors so 1000 HP at the crank.
I was told that the 1600cc's that I have can support 1600 HP with E85...but I do not have a turbo near big enough (nor the motor, LOL) to make that happen.

The good thing, with those injectors & E85, you should not need METH.
Just good tuning and E85 will make awesome power.

it really depends on fuel pressure. What fuel pump(s) you gonna use? Whats gonna be your base?

@43.5 base, 0.85 BSFC, 85% duty, around 800HP

@58 base , 0.85 BSFC, 85% duty, around 900HP

I agree with 900hp at 58psi base pressure, as I like a higher BSFC with ethanol.

160's will not support 1600hp on e85. You need 200+ for that much on e85. 160's will max out at around 1,350 on e85.

JM, what base pressure are you at?

On the ID website they rate base pressures up to 7 bar. Is there a max fuel pressure you should stay under?

Depends on what your pump is rated for. If you look at just about any pump there will be a flow curve based on fuel pressure. Generally the higher the pressure, the lower the rated flow of the pump.

It also depends if your spraying meth, right? Ive been told the motor needs less fuel when spraying.

pretty accurate with 905whp. Mine ran out of fuel pressure at 6400 rpm @ 930 whp using ID1000’s which were over 85% duty on 94 octane.
triple hat Fore return with ID1300x installed next week.

822 rwhp on e62 flex fuel with a 58 base. Can’t go any higher at 18lbs on the ethanol percentage. Lower boost setting or more pump pressure needed at this point. I plan on going bigger injector later. E60 is plenty of knock resistance

Seriously? What matters is that you are too ******* lazy for a simple google search. If you take this approach to your entire build, you are destined to be living in the slow lane for the rest of your life.
