Default Huron Speed Branded Billet 78/75?

As the thread title states, I see that Huron Speed has a Huron Speed branded billet 78/75 turbo for sale for $699.99 with a 1 year warranty. I've been interested in upgrading from the TC78 with a turbo that doesn't take up a lot more space and won't have the wife wondering why I spent over a grand for a "different" turbo.

I don't know if this is comparable to other company's Billet 7875 offerings and if you are paying a bit more for the 1 year warranty or if it's of better quality and the warranty is a bonus.

I like that Huron is willing to literally put their name on them and of course, I like the warranty. I'm wondering if they are different than similar offerings by other companies that cost a bit less.

I cannot comment on the others as I haven't used them, and don't know exactly which you are referring to but I have an idea. Here is info I can provide to help out in comparison based on specs:
*Full 3" Discharge on the compressor housing, I believe what you are looking at is 2.5".
*Your choice in Polished or Satin Compressor Cover
*Included required oiling fittings to bolt right on, not having to spend more money and source more parts later
*Full 1 year warranty gives you peace of mind and the know that we stand behind the quality of the product!
*Also backed by Huron Speed customer service! We are here to help, answer any questions, etc 7 days a week, morning, noon and night, even holidays!

Compressor wheel will flow 1200, however on a 347 you can expect up to roughly 900rwhp depending on drivetrain and dyno, a little less on a 376ci.

I am sorry but I will not do that. It is a very good, solid, reliable manufacturer who we do not care to disclose so others can jump in and take advantage of. I am sure you can understand this.

Can you explain the warranty? Is there a back and forth about whether or not you used an oil restrictor on the input and how good the return line is etc.?

Well obviously there is going to be some look at the unit. If you starve it or do not set it up properly, that is a different issue. Just as if you were to say your new PS4 video game isn't working in your x box. However set up properly if you have any issues we will work with you to resolve it or else replace the unit if there is an issue with it. Backed by full Huron Speed support (even on holidays such as now)

I know where you are coming from and understand with your question. To address what I believe you are getting at would be yes we need to do some due diligence which I am sure you understand, but we are going to be very prompt to quickly make sure the issue doesn't reside from elsewhere and then replace the unit if everything appears to be in proper order with an issue residing in the unit itself

The Issue typically is that people buy Chinese turbos from vendors and then have to fight the warranty side thru the Chinese vendor. If Huron is willing To be the party the customers deal with, than that is a move in the right direction.

yep that was my point. Most warranty's on the Chinese stuff is the same as the warranty on brake pads in Tommy Boy.
