Those woven mesh inner liners are specifically designed for non boosted apps...
The good vendors note this, in their literature.

Can you dyno it? Remove smoothing and see if gets jagged at some rpm, it might point something out. If you go back to the track try shifting at 5000rpm or so and see if it goes faster. It sounds like valve springs or lifters acting up.

we are tuning it this week, seems to be the same tho. Cam sounds better for sure being smaller. on the transbrake it makes 8lbs of boost instead of 10 like it use to.

im still not convinced that we are getting an accurate boost reading, with the boost gauge and HP tuners reading the MAP.

Will give more updates

i had a similar issue where my map and gauge weren't lining up correct . Do you have the correct o.s in your time file? Also what boost controller ? I read the entire post but can't recall if the first one mentioned the controller . This was with an eboost street for me . do you have a dyno graph for us too look at ?

also just curious , what are your plugs gapped at? Maybe one or a few are opened up just a bit too much? Higher boost could be blowing spark out on a single cylinder.
