Default Moderators? Perminat ban!? Come on! Been here 10+ yrs

Well we dropped our sponsorship and I was a member well before the sponsorship. So now I am banned? This does not seem too fair to me. I have contributed a ton of knowledge on this site over 10 years.

This isn't the "Hellbents" is it? If so, they banned you for dropping your sponsorship? If so, that's really messed up.

Us lowly Mods don't really have anything to do with that. I'm 99% sure that happens automatically as it's happened to a few others too. You would have to hit up an Admin like RPM WS6 or IB Nolan.

Ive seen some like Jake that say "closed ex sponsor" under his name, and others like the dude from BMR who left the company and resumed his normal name, so there are other options. I would PM RPMWS6 and see if he can get you squared away.

It's likely that once you dropped sponsorship your membership permission mask is defaulted to 'ex sponsor' instead of a normal member. Something may have happened in the permission mask settings that makes this account share the same settings as the 'banned account' It's most likely a simple back-end error that hasn't been caught yet, not anything personal. An admin should be able to get ya taken care of(hopefully)

I had a personal membership and a sponsorship on here. Personal was here for 7-8 years and sponsorship was for the duration of the contract. I bailed on the sponsorship for not being able to justify the cost vs what i was able to sell so, I cancelled. Both accounts were thrown out and I could never get an answer to why I lost my personal. I messaged different people, fell on deaf ears.

The login associated with the sponsorship usually gets locked. Mine did.

But the personal one i had prior too is still here obviously.

Same thing happened to me when I cancelled an old sponsorship on another site of theirs. Never pursued getting it corrected, I just left all together after that.

saw the same thing when 6le stopped being a sponsor here, if you look on some of their old posts it shows them as banned. to me that is wrong because they are still in business, just not focusing on the 4th gen platform specifically anymore and can be misleading for people looking for parts and such

This will affect future businesses that might want to be a sponsor
