Huron Speed V3 4th gen T6 kit Review and Write Up
Just got the new V3 T6 kit from Huron Speed for my 99 Camaro last night. The quality of the work on this thing is second to none. Absolutely gorgeous kit and packaged really nicely to avoid any damage in transit.
I'm going to be doing a write up on the install of the kit as well as slightly touching on my "stand up radiator" conversion as well as battery relocation.
Here are some pics of the kit. Stay tuned for much, much more and a full review of my honest opinions of the kit.

Here's what I have for the radiator so far. It's about 90% complete. Just need to actually mount the radiator in there. And run the hoses. All I did was cut out the bottom portion of the upper rad support and used the following parts...
Griffin Dual pass radiator # 1-58241-XLS
Lower hose Dayco 81171 (flexible universal hose) which is a little long for most but needed to clear the downpipe exiting out the passenger side front bumper, The upper hose is a Gates 22358 just trimmed to fit.

Radiator is complete. I lined the bottom with a foam rubber from Lowes like weatherstripping to prevent any chafing and it's locked in on a ridge from the factory support and the top is held in by 2 small brackets made from 3/4"x3/16 flat stock bolted to the rad support.
Mounted the headers, crossover pipe and wastegates. Today I plan on mounting the turbo and some if not all of the cold side piping. So far the fitment is amazing. And the quality and look of the kit is out of this world.

Really knocking out a lot today. Mocked up the intercooler and cold side and fits perfectly. Now I just need to finish battery relocation, and tuck some wires and pick up some new o2 sensors since mine were pretty old and didn't look too good. Also have to extend the wires for the iat sensor just a few inches and a few more small things and she will be ready to go.

This is great info. I have a t56 so I have a little more room for the fans. How are you hooking them up? Just to the stock fan connectors? Wiring them to always be on? Sorry for the stupid questions. I just got my t4 Twin kit in the mail today!

Thanks for the info! I will likely be in your threads often over the next few months. I guess the fans are triggered to kick on at a certain temp regardless so no big wiring mods are required.

Had a few small things to take care of so the car had to take a brake for a little bit, but the kit is officially done and got to start it for the first time. So far so good and sounds amazing. Tune is on Tuesday the 15th so should be able to take it down the road and post some numbers up soon! Can't wait! All In All so far I'm beyond satisfied with the kit. Install was easy and fitment was great.

Sorry for lack of updates. Life got in the way for a little while.
Got the tune done and on straight 93 octane pump gas it put down 696rwhp and 706rwtq at 15psi. Couldn't really turn it up any higher because my boost controller took a **** on me and was pretty much at the limits of pump gas anyway. Next up meth injection and 20+psi. BUT FIRST..........
Got a issue with my trans. Hopefully something small and stupid. Hopefully can dive into it soon and see what's going on but for the couple days I got to drive it, it was an absolute beast!
Literally picked up over 200 rwhp in some parts of the rpms. Way better than the old 76mm t4. And the crazy thing is, it's got almost the same amount of lag. This huron house turbo biuld by comp is amazing!

Bro I love your write up. THanks for the update Quick question, where are you running your coolant crossover steam vents to since that radiator does not have a port for it like the stocker?
DISREGARD, it does have steam vents. What did you plug the other side with, or are you using it?
Also, what did you do with the stock power steering lines that flowed next to the stock coolant pipe to warm them up?
