Yes it's on the transbrake, the new cam I put in doesn't like the boost builder function. I used to have it set for 10 degrees and it was ok, now it falls on its face. I could try and up it. I've just been running on my normal table as of late. That SLR is pretty low though right? Should I not change gears?

You need to set the delay to 5-6 psi before it enables boost builder function and than try yanking it down to 5 degrees or so. Make sure your launch dome psi is set higher than 12 psi or your gate maybe cracking open.

He never said his car was stock with the added items, he obviously did some weight mods to offset them. I think he was just illustrating its not a big deal to be iron block and still around stock weight.

Weight and low SLR not setup for track. Did you decide on a gear to make the car work better at track?

I'd leave the gear alone, what would you switch to a 2.48 first?

I'm wondering...

Converter.... done any logging to monitor slip? How does it drop on shifts?

What sort of timing are you running, and what fuel?

I spoke with Lenny from ultimate converter today, when I told him what the car weighed I heard him wince a little! Lol. He said no converter will work right with my gear combo at my weight. He suggested 4.11s. running e85. 22 degrees up top. I don't log slippage but shifts typically drop around 800rpm although on Tuesday I was breaking the tires loose shifting into 2nd and there was virtually no drop in rpm. Not sure what that was all about

So the converter guy just decided on 22 degrees?? Not saying he's wrong, but just sounds odd to randomly decide on a good place to call it good for timing..... with no testing.

4.11 should work well as you push the car towards 1600whp.
