Default Crazy Twin Turbo or Subtle Supercharger?

So I'm preparing to completely rebuild (if not replace) the motor in my 99 Z28. It's not dead or seemingly even close, but while I have the money to do it I want to get it out the way but while I'm at it, I want to build it to its intended purpose. I really don't know what that is yet. I am looking for something powerful and unique. Costs arent a factor but I don't want to go insane on it either but I am more than aware F.I. isn't cheap.

I was thinking first, keep it simple, rebuild it to a forged LS1 346, or maybe stroked to a forged 372 or just dumping the LS altogether and dropping an Iron LQ4 / LQ9 in there with heads, cam and 7 PSI from a Magnacharger. The reason I chose Magnacharger is purely for asthetics. I like the way they appear nearly stock over a pro-charger but am aware pro-chargers make more power. I "could" go with a ProCharger but I think I would rather turbo.

And thats what brings me to my next theory.. I LOVE the way the APS Twin Turbo Kits look, although they no longer make them. I found some turbo headers on eBay and was wondering what if I installed the turbo's on the side of the motor under the firewall like the APS's are installed, or if that was a possibility? I would definately get a Tubular K-Member, but want to keep the A/C. If I went this route, I'm going with a LQ4.

Input?

I think you should do a crazy twin supercharger setup.

That's dual prochaegers I do believe. Or centri's which ya that's been done quite a few times. I guess we were talking about two roots blowers

Yeah there are 2 roots chargers in action. I still stand by what I said though lol. It's doable but pretty stupid. It's a completely flashy thing. You can hit 1200hp with a single blower promise you that

I think they are twin Rotex blowers actually. This was done by W2W (Kurt Urban) back in the day of my memory serves me right. Think they were a little short on blower but there are bigger ones out now.

Why would you put all that money into the motor to put a small SC on it?

Mainly for ease of installation and reliability.

I was a bit hesitant about Turbo'ing although I know it's superior in terms of power. Here's a question, do you think a stock LS1 no internals modified will be able to stand up to a Magnacharger?

Or even if it could, would it be more cost effective to just build the motor and turbo?
The Magnacharger is still pretty up there, about $7k - installed ontop of a STOCK LS1.

Twin Turbo'ing, I'd have to build the motor to handle it (easily a minimum of $5k) and then the twin turbo setup itself can range a good bit but probably wont be done for less than $7k for the actual system.

So on a STOCK LS1 the Magnacharger would be about half the price .. but on a built motor it would be about the same...

The bottom end will support that much? I have heard that the weak link are the rods and from I have seen the limits on a stock LS1 was about 550 - 600ish HP before risking catastrophic failure. I don't mind spending a bit extra for peace of mind. Thats what I'm mostly concerned about.

But lets say I did just keep the motor stock (200k mile motor) and slapped a magnacharger ontop of that, should that hold up pretty well?
