I'd rather see them painted or anodized on an actual race car. It'll get scratched a lot less. I hate it when I spend all the effort to keep something scuff free and then I get the parts back a week later and customer asks me to re-grain it.

Absolutely and it is a high use item so natural finish would be a ton of work to keep looking good. Oh, this car IS a street car. It will run on e85. I had the steering wheel and seat positioned for street driving. It will have sound deadened, carpet for mats etc. Roll down windows, door locks.

Got the hatch mocked up. Gonna be a street car too so it will work of the hinges and strut rods.

Got alot of stuff finished up. Removable tranny crossmember done, front and mid plates done and ready for coating,, fuel pump mounted. Had to have rear firewall/bulkhead redone to fit the new ice box and fuel cell. I had a hinged lid done so it is easier to fill the ice and gas cells. The edge has a rudder lip and fits against the hatch so it wont vibrate or move around. Doors were changed to easy off hinges so it doesnt take 2 people to get the door off.
