Default Restrictor or not on YSi Billet SC

Hey all,

On my 2010 SS Camaro I am installing Vortech YSiBI, cam, LT's, meth/h2O spray with 3.60 upper pulley and 7.8 lower pulleys. ID 1050x's, HP Tuners - Pat G tune.

On the calculators it shows at shift rpm I will be spinning the SC at about 44K rpm (max impeller rpm is 65K) this seems a little low. Should I be running a restrictor to spin the SC a little harder?

Thanks,
Dan

Default

YSI shines when its spun harder, especially the billet wheel. Unless planning to turn it up later, a smaller blower would probably be a better option.
