Blow Through vs EFI Valve events
Fellas question on valve events when it comes to blow through stuff, Doing a motor on the stand while I have fun with this one it's 5.3 based and pretty cookie cutter by today's standards.
That being said I'm thinking most of these companies putting out "Turbo cams" have the EFI customers in mind. Should I just go with one of these kit cams or worth it to do something little more custom with the blow through stuff in mind ?
Set will be
LC9 block
Stock Gen 4 rotating Assembly with opened ring gaps fresh bearings
Cleaned up 243s
E85 Blow through carb
VS 7875
Victor Jr
Motor in it now is an Iron 5.3 with 706 heads and a BTR stage 3 cam with a 7668 and it does pretty well so that's why I'm wondering with Boost if the Carb vs EFI matters nearly as much

Launching!
When I changed to turbo I was going to do a custom cam but Texas speed had their forced induction cams on sale for 299. So compared to 400 ish I bought the shelf cam.... their cams also were geared toward an engine with l92 heads so I gave it a shot.... seems to work well but I have no comparison to a custom cam.... also had the same thinking as you since I'm blow through but the great deal on the shelf cam steered me away from custom and every thing is working great
