U still on oem head bolts? factory TTA spec?
Its a KRC Power Steering pulley, 3.5" diameter. With the stock pulley my voltage would drop to low 12s over 6900. No issues charging at idle. Engine warmed up, fans on, both fuel pumps and lights on it will still hold 13V. I put ARP head bolts on this one.

Thanks! Yes, I am still using the twin turbo cam in this 5.3, I still have my 4.8 in the garage for back up. Going back out to the track this weekend, hoping to see an 8.6x @ 160.

What’s the biggest difference you see going to the single (other than one less turbo/for all the wise guys here)?

Too much has changed for me to really compare the two. The twin set up was in a low compression, iron block 4.8. New set up is an aluminum 5.3 and I've got the dome control now, which I didn't have last year. On the street the new set up is definitely more responsive, but its got a bigger motor, car is lighter etc. One of the main reasons I did the single was to be able to run a full exhaust easier.

Understood. Full exhaust is awesome. I’m sure it’s holding me back a little, but it sounds tame and isn’t obnoxious drivin around.

Went to the track for the final time this year. Was a pretty good day. Got an 1/8 and 1/4 ET best and a 1/8 mph best. The track surface was is really rough after the 1/8th mile, which caused my car to bounce around a lot and tag the limiter a few times. Which is why the 1/4 mph was down a bit.

If you scroll back thru some of the old pics there are a few shots of it. The downpipe dumps on the passenger side through an electric cutout. There there is a 2.25" T off the downpipe that goes out to the rear axle with a muffler.

Just got around to ordering a Furick #12 Fupa Cup for my welder. Sure enough, the welds are looking a lot better from just that change. Thanks for the tip.

Quick update -

Switching up a few things on the car. Mainly going to focus on 1/8th mile racing this year. Got a pile of parts waiting to go in. Bought a BTE cased Powerglide with all the typical good stuff inside it. 1.80 gear set, 8 clutch drum, Vasco input etc. Switching to a 4.10 rear gear. Also ordered a Forced Inductions S485 from Huron Speed.

Setting a goal of 5.25 @ 135 for the season.
