No havnt started but forced to. Gm wont honor transmission and clutch warranty

Sounds like a plan. Engine/transmission swap would be much cheaper then fixing the transmission.

Why would he want to do the swap then fix the transmission? Seems like the whole point would be not to have to mess with the transmission at all.
