Gotta say that is one ugly ass intake

jordoza 01-09-2018 07:48 AM

I have to say my high ram is more pleasing to the eye but if this one being made of composite can keep iats down better i would give it a try. Price and performance will be the deciding factor in the end for me. My high ram even though it can get heat soaked like a bitch works very well.

Doesn't look like you can run a tall injector with it?

I'd be curious to know if those internal air bells are adjustable for N/A or F/I applications.

They offer several different lengths depending on the builder’s needs.

RonSSNova 01-11-2018 10:19 PM

I think you need to buy one Pete!

Ratical 01-12-2018 07:54 AM

At least it looks like it only has 1 o-ring this time, not like that damn spider web the original intake used.

stevieturbo 01-12-2018 02:55 PM

Time will tell....if it ever becomes a reality. And at what price, because it doesnt look like a cheap intake, and not too many want to pay big dollar when stock intakes work so well, especially with boost.

And how well will it tolerate boost ?

And how well will it tolerate boost ?[/QUOTE]

This is what is stated:

But just because it’s lightweight doesn’t mean it isn’t strong enough to handle just about any amount of boost or abuse you could possibly throw at it. Mark Campbell of FAST tells us that the new manifold is boost rated to a whopping 45 psi—ensuring the manifold is plenty strong, even for the most serious of builders.

stevieturbo 01-12-2018 04:22 PM

Well lets see if it ever becomes a reality...after all their last intake with user selectable runner lengths....where did it ever end up ?

Edelbrocks alloy dual plenum ? Nope....that Vararam dual plenum...Nope.

Some companies seem to like putting things out at big shows, then putting them away again afterwards lol.

AnotherWs6 01-12-2018 04:39 PM

10 nut inserts holding the lid together under 45 lbs of boost???? Is boost the target or is it for big and/or high rpm NA?
